Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that provides light weight and excellent maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold means it's easy to move and freestanding when folded. The padded seat reclines to a nearly flat position, and there's a huge storage bin and canopy. Baby suitability: Yes, with a separate carrycot (not suitable for sleeping overnight).
Air-filled tyres and good suspension can handle rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging but you must wait until your baby is six or nine months old for this.
Ickle Bubba Air
This light pushchair made by Ickle Bubba has a lot of features that parents will love. It is an all-in-one travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot for infants, a movable forward and rear-facing pushchair seat, and a choice of group 0+ car seats, so you can have everything you need in one package.
The XL Air is a really impressive buggy, and it's easy to see why it has received such high praise from its customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg and it's super-easy to construct. I was able get it up and running in less than five minutes - which is remarkable considering it also includes attaching fabric for the carrycot.
The seat is large and comfortable for Annie who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. There's a good amount of room in the basket and I like the fact that it has an open-top pocket on the handle bar so you can keep your keys and phone safe!
The only downside is the handlebar is low, which can be an issue for parents who are taller. It's covered with soft, supple leather-like material, which is easy to wipe down.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is for parents who enjoy exploring and are always on the go. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field trails, and the front wheel can be rotated and locked for extra versatility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness and a front bar to keep your little one safe on all trips, while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving while you take a break. The seat can be adjusted to lay flat and the canopy can be opened to allow maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.
If you're planning a quick jog or a longer hike, the Runner is ready to join you on your journeys with a reclining, fully-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee smooth, safe ride. The front wheel is lockable for more stability on narrow streets and overcrowded sidewalks, and the stroller folds up easily to fit into car boots and storage spaces.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to maneuver for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebar is a little higher than other strollers', so it might not suit shorter parents but overall, it's a sturdy and versatile stroller that's worth considering for active families.
Red Kite Push Me moving
Red Kite's Pace is a top product from the budget-friendly British brand. They are well-known for their well-designed, no-fuss products that are essential to parents. It's their newest and most expensive addition to their budget-friendly stroller line. Like the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo it's car seat compatible, meaning it can be used from birth.
The new Pace has some amazing design features, including the rose gold hue to the hood, chassis and stroller trims, which make it stand out from its rivals. The grey, tan and cream fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are elegant and there is the option of adding the handle for the cover and bumper bar as well.
It's suitable from birth to a maximum weight of 22kg. The stroller seat converts easily from the carrycot into a 2-in-1 reversible mode, parent or world-facing. The stroller seat offers multiple lying positions, a soft padded leg rest support and has an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections, viewing see through flap and a retractable sun visor section.
Furthermore, when folded in 3 wheeled pushchair , the Pace measures 56 x 43 x 32cm which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among other airlines. It's also simple to fold, thanks to two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side that just need to be pressed in and then pop out.
Bugaboo Fox 5,
Designed to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller, Bugaboo's latest Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it more mobile than its predecessor. I tested it alongside my two kids - one a toddler and another eight week old - over rocky pavements, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.
The puncture-proof wheels are big - 22cm and 30cm - so they can cope with lots of different terrains. The wheels have a flap that can be closed or opened to let air in when required. It's a bit bigger than most pushchairs, yet doesn't feel heavy or bulky when you're pushing it over bumpy surfaces.
The seat fabric can be machine washed and the faux leather frame and grips are easy to clean. It's also a lot quieter than many pushchairs and I felt confident using it in busy city streets. It has built-in accessory points, so you can attach footmuffs and parasols as well as changing bags, snack trays, and even snack trays. The hood can be used to block out the elements of wind and rain, but it's not waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more legroom. The bassinet took 20 minutes to set up, and it took a similar time to convert it into a seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
Whether you're enjoying an early morning run under the stars or taking a moonlit walk in the cool air, the UPPAbaby Ridge transforms every moment into a shared experience. This jogging stroller is all-terrain and has been optimized for performance to keep your child and you active.
The massive foam-filled 12" and 16 "tires provide smooth rides regardless of the terrain. The suspension system is patented and allows you to glide effortlessly on woodland trails while minimizing impact on your child's rear and legs. And the durable performance disc hand brake allows you to stop quickly, even while jogging downhill.
The Ridge is at its best in every city scene from bustling farmers' markets to the street musicians playing music. The spacious basket can hold everything you need and market purchases, while the large canopy provides sun and wind protection. The front canopy can be unzipped to reveal two mesh peekaboos that permit you to watch your baby.
The Ridge's reversible seat lets you to choose whether your child faces the world in front of them or you and its easy foot brake system is easy for parents with young children. The reversible handlebar on the back is a great feature that allows you to adjust it to your height. And unlike some jogging strollers, the Ridge's fold is reliable and stays self-standing while folded.
iCandy Core
The new pushchair from iCandy is truly groundbreaking, with lots of features that are really sure to amaze parents. It has a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a groundbreaking LED Hub Light, which is a first for the industry. It features a built-in Ride-on board that saves on future costs and lets tired toddlers accompany the family when they go on excursions.
The Core can be purchased as a stand-alone unit or as a complete travel system and it is compatible with the most popular car seats made by brands such as Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. It has the largest seat unit of the iCandy line, so you can use it for your baby's first year and beyond. Like all iCandy pushchairs, this one is luxuriously designed and is made of high-end knitted jersey fabrics. The child's bumper bar as well as the parent's adjustable handlebar are made of soft leatherette. The fold-away calf supports are also extremely comfortable for children.
It was quite impressive how quickly it folded and collapsed even with the seat unit attached. It is also easy to fit into your hallway and boot making it ideal to travel with. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, such as a rucksack with a color match and a footmuff/liner.
